There should be some sort of rule to ban co-workers from eating crunchy shit at their desk.
Probably my biggest pet peeve ever is people who chew with their mouths open, and people who make all sorts of crunching sounds when you eat.
I understand there is no quiet way of eating shit like celery or biting into apples. But seriously, take your f'n crunchy eating elsewhere because for some f'd up reason I hear that shit like wayyyyyy louder than everyone else.
This has been an issue for a very long time. Friends and family get it. They try not to make me go buck wild crazy. I appreciate it I really do.
But there are those other times, that I really don't have much control of. Like my lovely new assistant who likes to eat rice cakes and celery and raw veggies all the time. Believe me I tell her she's annoying, but she just laughs and tries to crunch the celery quieter when in fact, her attempt at it is fruitless and annoys me even more.
I could use ear plugs or listen to my music but unless I'm going deaf, I can still hear it. So I sit and I suffer and have dreams of punching crunchy eaters in the face.
I know you think I'm over reacting, or maybe you agree. Whatever the case, this shit drives me nuts and if I were boss, I'd ban crunchy shit in the office.
PS I used the word "butmunchers" in my last post. I wanted to put in the extra "t" to spell it "buttmunchers" but I could not. I actually looked up the spelling in the urban dictionary and they had one so I left it. Maybe they spell it both ways, I'm not sure, cuz I didn't even take the time to click through the link to check. Want to know why? I was too busy telling my co-worker that I was going to kill her if she brought the same shit for a snack tomorrow.

Heh! Well I'm retired but I hadn't thought about the UD. I just went and read both entries, I think the spelling is optional. Turns out the word comes from Beavis and Butthead - sort of. My favorite definition was: Somebody that annoys you so badly it's like their gnawing at your ass.
I agree, I have a co-worker who's desk is near mine, and OMG! she makes so much noise when she eats anything ... she even slurps oatmeal, and it drives me INSANE!
