I haven't bitched in a long while about anything but I want to bitch about this.
I am sick and tired of people at work making comments about "how late" I'm eating my lunch.
Firstly, what's it to you?
Second, um maybe it's "late" for you but for me, it's right on freakin time.
Third, I do not talk to you about how early I think you're eating your shitty lunch, so don't bug me about when I'm eating mine. And as a side note, stop inspecting it and commenting on it. I don't do it to you. So back off.
And fourth, to those out there who only live in their own little world...not everyone eats at 12 p.m. on the dot. In fact, many people have their "lunch" when it's appropriate to them. Sometimes it's at 3 a.m. and sometimes it's at 4 p.m. That's their perogative.
So yeah. Back off you early lunch eaters who constantly make comments about me eating lunch at 1:30 or 2:00 p.m. It's not late. AT ALL. It's right f'n on time for me and my "crazy assed" schedule.
Thanks.

I love your bitches. Missed them. Plus, you are right, civilized people eat between 2pm and 4pm and they take it slow, enjoy it, and then have a little nap.
Butmunchers is a word I am now going to use at least once a day. I love it. In my mind though, I'm going to add another T.
When I had employees working the 10 to 7 or 11 to 8 shift, they usually got lunch at 2 or 3. They would complain and complain. My answer always was, you can eat your "lunch" on your 15 minute break if you are so hungry, and do what ever you want with your hour.
Personally, I used to love a 2 o'clock lunch and still do. But I am a hobbit, 1st breakfast, 2nd breakfast, lunch, snack, cena, sleep....ahhhhh
All the time I worked retail we hardly ever scheduled anyone to be off the floor from noon to one when all the worker bees were shopping during their lunch.
You sound like you have a bunch of bored co-workers, if the most interesting topic is your lunch!
I am happy to see you writing again.
regards,
Theresa
