What's the Haps!?

I'm not even going to mention my blog absence. Oh wait...I just did!

Busy busy busy busy in real life and frankly if I had to pick blogs, twitter or Facebook....I choose Facebook! I can check and comment quickly without having to spend a long time writing or reading. However! This does not mean I've forgotten my blogger friends! In fact, a lot of you are Facebook right there with me!!!

Anyways. So what's new!?

Work is going good. There are lots of changes around me but my position is pretty stable and I still enjoy what I do. So that's good. I also helped the family out at the traditional Folk Festival this year. A weekend full of music and hippies and all sorts of good stuff. So things on the work front are good. I'm not making millions yet but at least I'm happy!

Martial arts is going good as well. I've been teaching cardio muay thai kickboxing classes twice a week and have been loving it. The students like the fact that I mix it up and I'm particular about technique and making sure they are doing things properly AND getting a good workout at the same time. Since I've been kinda sick and busy with other stuff I haven't been able to train myself but that should change soon. The competitive bug is still in me somewhere but we'll have to see how my training goes. I am really hard on myself when it comes to martial arts and set extremely high standards and expect myself to be in a certain amount of shape mentally and physically before I compete and I haven't felt close to that, so in the meantime, I'm enjoying things as they are.

On the boy front....do you remember way back when I said I was going to meet my husband and I said the same thing on Twitter?

Guess what!

I'm engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not. Haha. But he's really nice, treats me like a princess, is thoughful, super funny and things are going really well.

I know I promised pictures of my trip to Punta Cana and I will get them up eventually. In addition I have some pics and vids of a trip up to my cabin. Diesel came with us in the canoe and he had is very own life jacket. It was to die for cute. He loved it out there!

Anyways, the only pics I have are from a photo shoot I did and some ones I can steal from the friend I went with. So I'll go get them right now and post them below. By the time you read this you won't even notice the time gap!
